1. Principle of sterilization and algaecide:

There are three aspects

3. Scale prevention and descaling principle:

7、 Precautions:

Main problems in circulating water operation:

(1) Scale:

Due to the continuous evaporation of circulating water in the cooling process, the salt concentration in the water increases continuously, which exceeds the solubility of some salts and precipitates. Common scales include calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, magnesium silicate, etc. The scale has a dense texture, which greatly reduces the heat transfer efficiency. The scale thickness of 0.6mm reduces the heat transfer coefficient by 20%.   

(2) Dirt:

Dirt is mainly composed of organic matters, microbial colonies and secretions, sediment and dust in the water. The soft texture of the scale not only reduces the heat transfer efficiency, but also causes corrosion under the scale and shortens the service life of the equipment. 

(3) Corrosion:

Circulating water corrosion of heat exchange equipment, mainly is the electrochemical corrosion, the causes of equipment manufacturing defects, enough oxygen in water, the water corrosive ions (Cl -, Fe2 +, Cu2 +) and microbes secrete mucus generated by the factors such as dirt, corrosion of the consequence is very serious, uncontrolled a very short time even heat exchanger, water pipe road equipment scrap.   

(4) Microbial slime:

Because the circulating water is dissolved with sufficient oxygen, suitable temperature and rich nutrient conditions, it is very suitable for the growth and propagation of microorganisms. If not controlled in time, the water quality will quickly deteriorate, stink and turn black, a large number of scale deposits and even blocks in the cooling tower, the cooling and heat dissipation effect will be greatly reduced, and equipment corrosion will be intensified. Therefore, the reproduction of microorganism must be controlled in the treatment of circulating water.
